About the Activation
What exactly is the cocktail art printing activation? We print custom high-resolution images, including logos, photos, illustrations, and curated designs, directly onto the surface of cocktails, mocktails, and lattes using food-safe, edible ink. The process takes only seconds and has no effect on the flavor, aroma, or temperature of the drink.
Is the printing safe to consume? Yes. All printing is food-safe, allergen-friendly, and gluten-free. It does not alter the taste, smell, or temperature of any beverage.
What kinds of drinks can be printed on? The activation works with cocktails, mocktails, espresso drinks, foam-topped beverages, and select signature drinks. Latte printing is available as an add-on for coffee and espresso service.
Will this slow down bar service? No. Drinks are prepared by the bartender as usual. The printed finish takes only a few seconds and happens after the drink is complete. We operate alongside the bar and never interrupt service.
Do you need a special drink menu? No. The activation integrates with whatever your bar team is already serving. We work with your existing menu and bar setup.
What do you need from the venue? Only a small table space and a standard power outlet. We handle all setup, operation, and breakdown. Your venue staff does not manage the activation.
How far in advance should we book? We recommend booking 3 to 6 weeks in advance to allow time for artwork curation, custom design work, and approvals. Limited availability and rush timelines may be available. Reach out to discuss.
About Design & Customization
Who creates the designs? Our team curates a portfolio of designs tailored to your event before we arrive. We also have access to a large library of curated graphics, seasonal artwork, and customizable templates for last-minute events. Custom designs with revision rounds are available through our Signature package and Design Add-On options.
Can guests submit their own photos to be printed? Yes. The Guest Upload Experience add-on allows guests to send a personal photo or message to be printed on their drink in real time. It typically becomes one of the most memorable and social moments of the evening.
Can I choose a specific ink color? Yes. Ink color selection is available as an add-on and is a great option for events with a specific brand palette or design aesthetic.
About Bar Experience Services
What is a dry-hire bar service? Proper Welcome Co. operates on a dry-hire model, meaning the client is responsible for purchasing all alcohol, mixers, and bar ingredients. We provide the creative direction, menu development, staffing, and coordination. This gives you full control over your budget and purchasing while we focus on building the experience around what you've selected.
What's the difference between Menu Development and Full Bar Experience? Menu Development is our bar consulting service. We develop a custom cocktail concept, drink names, flavor direction, and a suggested bar structure aligned to your event or brand. Full Bar Experience builds on that with detailed recipes, exact measurements, a complete ingredient and sourcing list, specific alcohol brand recommendations, and visual direction for how the bar should be set up and presented.
Do you provide bartenders? Yes. Staffing services are available and include professional bartenders coordinated and managed by Proper Welcome Co. We handle scheduling, creative direction, and day-of coordination.
Can I combine bar services with the cocktail printing activation? Absolutely. Pairing the two creates the most seamless experience.
